Kabali Tamil Review
On the whole, KABALI is
an archetypal Rajinikanth film that will surely be lapped up by his hardcore
fans. Rajinikanth does his best to carry the film on his able shoulders but the
audiences will be left wanting for more. There is one sun, there is one moon
and there is only one Rajnikanth. This one sentence sums up the 'Rajini mania'
that's prevalent all over the world.
Kabali Telugu Review
Plus point - Just like all his
previous movies, even Kabali banks majorly on Rajinikanth’s unmatchable
charisma. Kabali is a treat for hardcore Rajini fans as Thalaiva enthrals them
with his trademark style. Radhika Apte steals the show as Rajni’s wife. She had
a crucial role which she essayed it with a lot of ease and dignity. Dhansika is
quite impressive in her character.
Minus point - One of the
biggest drawbacks of Kabali are the lack of Rajni fan moments. After the
initial few moments, the stardom of Rajni takes a back seat and all those who
expected a Basha kind of scenario and powerful drama is no where seen in the
film. Yet another major hiccup in Kabali is the slow pace with which the story
moves forward. The film’s second half is too lethargic and bores the audiences.
The director couldn’t succeed in translating a powerful script onto the screen.
Kabali Hindi Review
While all the actors
have given their best, it is without any doubt Rajinikanth who shines as don
Kabali. Rajinikanth's performance is the only saving grace, otherwise, the film
is a letdown, critics said. "Kabali" fails to live up to the
expectations because of its slow pace.
Kabali
The placement of the first song and choreography is one of the best in recent
years. Natural dialogues but
slow pace.
Kabali Malaysia Review :
Kabali is a not-so-archetypal Rajnikanth movie with a politically charged theme revolving around the discrimination against Tamils in Malaysia. With occasional moments of brilliance, the movie partly quenches the thirst of die-hard Rajnikanth fans and panders to the Tamil audience in Malaysia.
Ranjith's homework on centuries-old Tamil labour in the east Asian region, especially Malaysia, forms the backbone of the movie and it does come across on the screen right from the characters' diction and slang to racial tensions between Tamils and Chinese. Santhosh Narayanan's music keeps up with the tempo of the movie.
Kabali Overseas Review
Movie is a Paisa Vasool for Rajanikanth fans. Theater exploded several time with applause. Its premier was organized on 21st July in USA and Kabali has already come in safe zone. It has broken the premier collection record of Baahubali which collected $1,382,076.00 from Premiers whereas Kabali earned $2.26 Million from its Premier. Earlier the Trade Analyst predicted that Kabali would collect $1.3 Million to $1.5 Million but it earned more than $2 Million, which is highest amount collected by any Indian movie at USA Box office till date.
